As a native Floridian, I am familiar with the State’s natural beauty and always looking for adventures to do in my free time. And of course, when you own property in Florida, you get plenty of snowbirds coming to visit. After all, what is more, appealing shoveling snow or basking in the sun?

I decided to take an airboat excursion at Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures, located in the Orlando area. I figured this would be a new experience to introduce my endless array of visitors to once the Pandemic passed.

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures’ origins go back more than twenty years. It all started in a small fish camp called the East Lake Fish Camp. Initially, local families and friends would go out on the waters on their airboats.

The visitors and campers traversing through would ask these locals for rides, and that’s where the idea for Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures near the Orlando, Florida area was born. They started with one six-passenger airboat in the early 1990s. Today they have an entire fleet with various other attractions and activities for visitors from all over the country. The history is interesting.
