the desire to dropout and start a bakery cafe

everyone ive spoken to about starting a bakery cafe together in the future have passionately agreed.

it seems like doing so is a common desire. why is that so?

is modernity this horrible, dry, and mind-numbing? hon hon hon, yes, according to Baudrillard…..Fisher…. Jameson….some hypereality…late stage capitalism… Deleuze NONONONON I AM NOT GOING TO USE ANY CRITICAL THEORY TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION, I AM DONE WITH THE FRENCH(and the other peeps)!!!!

well, here’s a much simpler answer that doesn’t involve jargon nor the french. starting a bakery/cafe is more fun than whatever else we can imagine.

being accompanied by those we love, having great food, forming connections with the regulars…

that does sound a lot better than whatever the fuck else. of course, to be able to speak in such a manner is a manifestation of absurd privilege. this is a legitimate option for me to consider and that’s insanely messed up.

even so, i am not going to loath myself to have such privilege or talk any more about it. if i have such opportunity, i shall think of it seriously then make a decision!

ah… to have a bakery cafe…the smell of freshly baked bread…mayhaps a sexy barista as eye candy… seeing my customers fall in love with each other… what could be better!? nothing else

but starting a bakery cafe isn’t just this… it’s plenty of other beauraucratic work. why is it such a hassle!

for now, i guess i will just keep baking out of the basement kitchen
