Lamented humanity

I fail to understand how and to what extent can humanity be dreadful . It would be imprudent and unjustifiable to myself if chose not to express my views,was very shaken and aghast on the recent brutality that happened and was much more devastated by the video – stating rape is consensual. We all know about the nationwide public outcry in 2012- gang rape and murder in Delhi,led to pass the amendment in criminal law which hence widened the definition and punishment for the offence of rape. Even after that there has not been any major change in the deviant behaviour towards women. Why? Can’t women be treated as human as men.

Our country has made progress with women in education, development programs but when it comes to safety and protection it lags behind. In our society there may be plethora of rape incidents which does not invoke law . The peace and safety of a women is extricably linked with equality and well being of a women. I wonder when will stage of envisage and insecurity end and. be able to live in tranquil and peace. The video mentioned above clearly talks about people how they think and believe that rape is women’s fault and it’s purely consensual, It is very much disturbing and it does muddle up the entire meaning of the subject. What we can do is to educate and bring awareness to people who think it’s right to blame women for. rape. Let’s change the way we view and the collective conscience. Hope for a better and safe tomorrow.
